Free mask distribution event this week in Issaquah

On Tuesday residents can get up to 12 free masks

Need a new mask or still looking for one? Another free cloth mask event is coming to Issaquah Tuesday, Aug. 25.

The drive-thru distribution event is from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, at the Pickering Barn, 1730 10th Ave. NW. Residents enter at the parking lot entrance and drive up to the Amazon Treasure Truck, that is partnering with the county for this event.

The event is for King County residents only— folks can get two masks for each household member, up to six members, or 12 masks, per vehicle.

This is one of several King County mask distribution events to offer residents 25 million masks purchased by the county to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Face coverings should be worn in indoor public spaces and outdoors when six-feet distances can’t be maintained. Face coverings can help reduce transmission of the virus, along with hand washing and social distancing.
