Issaquah, Eastlake, Skyline, EC players help Eastside FC to third place at U17 Nationals | Prep sports news

Eastside FC B94 red, a team comprised of players from around the KingCo 3A and 4A conferences, finished in third place at the U17 National Championship tournament with a 2-1 record.

A 4-1 win over the Region III champs from Texas kept Eastside FC’s title hopes alive to open the tournament, before a loss to the eventual champions from Illinois and another win over a squad from Arizona.

Local players include: Madison Heck, Eastlake; Joe Mancini, Eastside Catholic; Evan King, Issaquah; Kaleb Strawn, Skyline
