‘Beat the Winter Brews’ this Friday

There's no reason to have the winter blues. Not when the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce is holding 2nd Annual Beat the Winter Brews Festival from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at Gilman Village.

There’s no reason to have the winter blues. Not when the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce is holding 2nd Annual Beat the Winter Brews Festival from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at Gilman Village.

The adult-only ticketed event offers an evening of brews and some blues – only the musical kind.

The event will feature samples of products by local breweries, pouring a diverse assortment of beers. Some of the beer selections include Mac & Jacks, Georgetown Brewing Co., Rogue Brewery, Hale’s Ale, and more.

Select wines will be presented by Fivash Cellars, ICON, and Echo Ridge Cellars. Spirits also will be available to taste. There also will be a Scotch and Cigar lounge.

The fun and affordable night out is part of Gilman Village’s 40th anniversary celebration.
