Wolves take down rival Redmond, Skyline holds off Inglemoor | Prep sports roundup

Eastlake's Li Wang earned medalist honors as his team took down Redmond and Skyline picked up another win in girls soccer.

Boys tennis

Bellevue 7 Liberty 0

The Wolverines swept Liberty behind singles wins from Henry Barkhudariyan, Chris Graham, Will Hwang and Kyto Akagi while Chase Olson and Michael Smythies, Michael Zhao and Nick Willingham and Nick LaCava and Kevin Lee took doubles matches, all in straight sets.

Skyline 6 Garfield 1

All three doubles pairs picked up wins for the Spartans while three of the four singles players did likewise in the team victory over Garfield.

Aman Manji, Nikita Moroz and Diego Graterol won in straight sets on the singles side and Alex Wu and Brayden Hansen, Nick Ziats and Calvin Kim and Manual Larrain and Parker Matias won doubles matches.

Boys golf

Eastlake 194 Redmond 215

Li Wang took home medalist honors for the Wolves with a 36 at Bear Creek Country Club as his team picked up the win over rival Redmond to remain unbeaten on the year.

Will Sharp shot 38 and Spencer Weiss fired a 39, with Paul Russo shooting 40 as Eastlake shot the five lowest scores between the two teams.

Volleyball

Interlake 3 Liberty 0

Kendal Davis had a team high 14 digs in the win for the Saints and Carolyn Fordyce added 10 kills and 13 digs.

Julia Regalia finished with 18 assists.

Girls soccer

Skyline 3 Inglemoor 2

The Spartans erased an early deficit behind three straight goals from Brooke Bofto and Anna Deweirdt in the win.

Lianna Simms assisted on the score from Bofto before MacKenzie Ware and Rachel Shim earned helpers on the scores from Deweirdt.

Emily Baril and Jaeden Chew combined to pick up the win in goal.
