TeenFest returns to Plateau

Sammamish will host its sixth annual TeenFest June 14 at the Sammamish Commons. The event starts at 3:30 p.m. with a skateboarding competition and continues with a Battle of the Bands at 6 p.m.

Groups from Seattle, Mercer Island, Redmond and Sammamish have registered for the competition, which offers cash and prizes to “hardest rockin’” bands on the Plateau.

Admission to TeenFest is free.

Preregistration is required for skateboarders 13-20 and the cost is $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents. More information on the event is available on the City of Sammamish website.
