Issaquah Rotary ready to ‘Run with the Fishes’

The Issaquah Rotary Club will “Run with the Fishes,” on Oct. 5 with a 5K Fun Run/Walk and Kids Dash for charity.
The event begins at 9 a.m. with the Kid’s Dash at 10:30 a.m.
Timing chips will be available for those who want them or just walk and enjoy the day.
Registration is available online at http://issaquahrun.com/, by mail at Issaquah Rotary Foundation, P.O. Box 553, Issaquah, WA 98027 or at local retail stores including Sports Authority, FootZone, Super Jock ‘n Jill, Shoes-n-Feet, The Balanced Athlete, Everyday Athlete, Running Elements and Gold’s Gym.
Registration is $35 from Sept. 1 through Oct. 4, and event day registration is $40. Everyone who registers in advance will receive a commemorative Run with the Fishes T-Shirt. Participants who register the day of the race are not guaranteed a T-shirt shirt.
The race course is flat and winds through Issaquah. Miles will be clearly marked and water stations available along the course. Unofficial results will be posted near the finish line. Official results will be posted on the event and Rotary websites as well as Facebook. All attendees are invited to a post event celebration with more fun and prizes.
The race and race-day registration will be near Sports Authority at 1185 N.W. Gilman Blvd.
