Sammamish releases 2012 Summer Concerts in the Park schedule

Sammamish will enter its 12th year of Summer Concerts in the Park, releasing its 2012 schedule on Wednesday.

The annual event will begin at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, July 12 at Pine Lake Park with a performance by The Spyrographs — a 1960s-style pop band.

The concert series, which started in 2000, is one of the longest traditions for Sammamish.

All shows begin at 6:30 p.m. and last until about 8 p.m. Overflow parking for the free concerts is available at the Pine Lake Park & Ride. A free shuttle is provided.

July 12 – The Spyrographs (60s pop)

July 19 – Second Hand Newz (Fleetwood Mac tribute)

July 26 – Craig Terrill Band (Former Seahawk plays classic rock)

Aug. 2 – Stacey Jones Band (Indie blues rock)

Aug. 9 – Adrian Xavier Band (Reggae world music)

Aug. 16 – Cloverdayle (Modern country)

Aug. 23 – Sammamish Symphony Orchestra (American classics)

Aug. 30 – Cherry Cherry (Neil Diamond tribute)
