IHS student accepted to Harvard summit

Issaquah High School student Erin Kim was accepted recently into the People to People Leadership Summit at Harvard University in Boston next summer.

Kim was nominated for the program based on scholastic merit, civic involvement and leadership potential, according to a release.

The summit will gather student leaders from around the world to focus on leadership, team building, community service, college admissions and other topics. Each student who attends works on an action plan to make a difference in their community.
