Published 3:08 pm Monday, March 5, 2012

Global Washington will conduct a brown bag lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 13 at Sammamish City Hall, presenting what it does to support organizations worldwide.

Whether someone works outside the U.S., or is thinking about it, Bookda Gheiser, executive director of Global Washington, can help find support by working with other Washington organizations.

Global Washington members include both small non-profits and large organizations like Microsoft, Boeing, PATH, World Vision and the YMCA.

Global Washington has been established to help organizations fully benefit from the advantages they share by being co-located in Washington.

Washington’s organizations are especially prominent in four global issue areas: economic development and poverty alleviation; global health; education and global engagement; and climate, environment and agriculture.

To take advantage of this opportunity, RSVP by phone or email to Dawn Sanders. She can be reached at 425-295-0556, or dsanders@ci.sammamish.wa.us.
