Police investigating vandalism at Pine Lake Park

On Sunday March 2 just after 6 a.m., Sammamish Police responded to a report of a vandalism at Pine Lake Park, 2401 228 Avenue Southeast.

The officer arrived to find extensive spray paint damage to the interior and exterior walls of the restroom, as well as to some of the park signage. The graffiti contained political and anti-religious messages. The suspect(s) are estimated to have caused more than $10,000 in damage.

The park restroom is currently closed. Crews from the Sammamish Parks Department are in the process of cleaning up the spray paint and plan to have the restroom opened again later this week.
