Eastlake wins rivalry contest
The Eastlake Wolves captured a 5-3 win against the Skyline Spartans on April 29 in Sammamish. The Wolves (12-3) will face the Redmond Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on May 6 at Hartman Park in Redmond. The Spartans (11-4) will face the Inglemoor Vikings at 6 p.m. on May 6 in Kenmore.
Ballard defeats Eastside Catholic
The Ballard Beavers nabbed a 5-3 against the Eastside Catholic Crusaders on April 27.
BASEBALL
Eastside Catholic conquers Ballard
The Eastside Catholic Crusaders defeated the Ballard Beavers 10-4 on April 27. Taylor Wright went 3-for-4 at the plate with 2 RBI. Nate Gelbrich went 4-for-4 with 2 RBI as well in the win. The Crusaders tallied 12 hits in the contest.
Skyline wins nail-biter
The Skyline Spartans registered a 4-3 win against the Issaquah Eagles on April 29 in Sammamish. Skyline improved their overall record to 13-6 with the win while Issaquah dropped to 8-11 overall.
Eastlake wins third game in a row
The Eastlake Wolves improved their overall record to 10-9, courtesy of a 3-0 win against Inglemoor on April 29.
LACROSSE
Skyline earns convincing win against Inglemoor
The Skyline lacrosse team registered a 19-3 win against Inglemoor on April 29 in Sammamish. Nolan Eggert and Sam Taaffe each scored a team-high three goals for the Spartans in the victory. Nathan Brandt, Blake Carpenter and Jack McCarthy scored two goals apiece as well.
Issaquah nabs overtime win against Mercer Island
Jake Lindahl scored a team-high four goals in Issaquah’s 8-7 win against Mercer Island on April 29. Ryan Egland scored two goals for Issaquah as well.
Eastlake dominates Newport Knights
Eastlake cruised to a 16-3 win against Newport on April 29 in Factoria. Garrett Edwards scored a game-high four goals for Eastlake. Daniel Bradley, Andrew Edwards and Chandler Tolliver each recorded three goals in the victory.
Crusaders stellar offense leads to a convincing victory
Eastside Catholic defeated Bishop Blanchet 18-3 on April 28 in Seattle. Ryan Grazko scored a game-high five goals in the contest for Eastside Catholic. Jack Secru added four goals as well.
