Once again, I am humbled by the generous residents of Issaquah. So many dedicate their time, talents, and enthusiasm to keep our community a fantastic place to live. Thanks to the legions who made my first Salmon Days so memorable.
I’d particularly like to voice my gratitude for the efforts of Jay Holman, Becky Sosby, Jo-Ellen Smith, Tom Anderson, Dick & Margo Campbell, Sylvia Hermanson, and our wonderful partners at the Downtown Issaquah Association including Karen Donovan, Mary Anne Hult, Brenda DaVore, and Steve Ahlbom. These folks helped curate a temporary exhibit at the historic Shell Station of Issaquah’s fishing history and told fantastic fish tales to keep our youth enthralled with what an amazing place Issaquah is. Thank you so much.
