Eastlake senior Nate Pendleton captured fourth place in the Class 4A boys division, clocking a time of 15:16.40. Eastlake senior Brooke Manson captured 20th place in the Class 4A girls division, tallying a time of 18:42.30. Eastside Catholic had an overall record of 2-2 at the state tourney, registering victories against Timberline and Ferndale. The Crusaders lost to Capital in the Class 3A semifinals and Mount Spokane in the third/fourth place contest. Eastside Catholic finished the 2017 season with an overall record of 19-6.

Skyline defensive lineman Matthew Cindric (pictured) returns a fumble for a touchdown in the second quarter. Cindric finished the game with a team-high three sacks. Skyline will face Central Valley in the Class 4A quarterfinals on Nov. 17 or Nov. 18.
