Key players in the new Homewood Suites by Hilton facility in Issaquah participated in a topping off ceremony today. The upscale, all-suite, residential, extended-stay hotel is being built in the Hyla Crossing neighborhood, located at I-90 just off exit 15 and SR 900.

The 123-suite, eight-story hotel will be owned by Rowley Properties, Inc., and is being constructed by GLY. The hotel is slated to open this summer.

“Today’s topping off ceremony represents a milestone for our company,” said Kari (Rowley) Magill, CEO for Rowley Properties, Inc. “We celebrated the completion of the eighth and final story of the building. But, more importantly, we celebrate the many individuals (200+) and different trades helping build the Homewood Suites by Hilton Seattle/Issaquah.”

Magill added that the hotel marks the first project implemented under a 30-year development agreement between Rowley Properties, Inc. and the city of Issaquah.

“We anticipate this new hotel bringing significant economic activity, such as tourism dollars spent and restaurant/retail sales, to the city once open,” Magill said.

Bill DeJarlais, senior project manager/principal for GLY noted that the company is proud to be affiliated with the Rowley family.

“Together with Rowley Properties, we’re excited about reaching this important milestone in the construction and honored to be a part of this investment in Issaquah’s future.”

When completed, the new Homewood Suites Seattle/Issaquah will provide amenities and services such as spacious suites boasting fully equipped kitchens, separate sleeping and living spaces, as well as complimentary internet, daily full-hot breakfast, evening dinner and drinks Monday-Thursday and grocery shopping service.

More than 350 Homewood Suites by Hilton residential-style hotels are open in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Rowley Properties is a family-owned and operated property management and development firm that purchases, develops, leases, and manages property throughout Western Washington.
