Sammamish’s Halter elected to Make-A-Wish board of trustees

Sammamish resident Julie Anne Halter was recently elected to the Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington Board of Trustees.

Sammamish resident Julie Anne Halter was recently elected to the Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington Board of Trustees.

The nonprofit organization is famous for granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Halter, member of the Washington State and King County Bar Associations, is a partner in the Seattle office of the law firm K&L Gates LLP. Her professional practice includes general commercial and business litigation, with a core emphasis in discovery and e-discovery issues.

For more than 15 years, Halter has worked on cases involving intellectual property, securities and banking, antitrust and complex commercial matters, as well as governmental and internal investigations and public records act requests. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Washington and received her Master’s in Law from Seattle University School of Law.
