Butler’s support of parks a great asset to Issaquah

Fred Butler has been a great supporter of parks and open spaces within the city of Issaquah and adjoining the city. I fully expect Fred to be a great leader in support of city and adjoining parks and opens spaces as our mayor.

Fred Butler has been a great supporter of parks and open spaces within the city of Issaquah and adjoining the city. During Fred’s tenure on the council, he has strongly supported the acquisition and improvement of many city parks and open spaces.

Issaquah has a large state park on both its north and south borders and a large county park on both its west and east borders. These parks may never be within the city limits, but provide great benefit to our city and the region. I know of no other city in the Puget Sound Basin that adjoins the quality and quantity of park and open space we enjoy.

Fred’s regional experience and many contacts will directly benefit Issaquah as he works with state and county elected officials to insure the needed resources and management are provided to these great green spaces. The regional natural resource lands that surround Issaquah are very much identified with our quality of life and the economic strength of our city. Their value is much appreciated by Fred both personally and by his actions as a councilmember.

I fully expect Fred to be a great leader in support of city and adjoining parks and opens spaces as our mayor.
