A recent letter writer responding to a John Carlson column gave us reasons she would not vote for Sarah Palin. She said she saw a picture of Palin holding a gun with a dead, bloody moose.

Well, what happened to the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms? Also, maybe she hasn’t been to Alaska, but just about all parents and their kids hunt and fish. As far as drilling in Anwar, one-tenth of the population has never been there. Maybe she hasn’t been to Prudhoe bay and seen how well the wildlife has blended into nature. Prudhoe bay was built 40 years ago and there have been no spills.

Everything has flourished there. Does she not think the technology today is way better?

I’m sick and tired of the hypocrites that call themselves Democrats. If Ms. Palin was a Democrat, she would be a super star.

Because she is a Republican, she is ridiculed. Where is The National Organization of Women, or does that stand for only liberal women? It’s OK to be a soccer mom in tennis shoes, but not a hockey mom. Oh, that’s right, there was a “D” next to the soccer mom. The last statement Ms. Adams made was the reason women do not support her is because she is callous and manipulative. I ask, are you a friend of her or have you been in contact, or is that just the left making things up?
