We are so fortunate this election to have outstanding folks running for office. Aside from Obama, Gov. Gregoire and Darcy Burner, we have local candidates.

We are so fortunate this election to have outstanding folks running for office. Aside from Obama, Gov. Gregoire and Darcy Burner, we have local candidates.

I encourage everyone to vote for Phyllis Huster for Senate, and for the House, Jon Viebrock and David Spring.

These hardowrking candidates are honest and intelligent. They are NOT in the pockets of lobbyists or large corporations. They care about us and our issues. We need them working for us down in Olympia.

Huster has an extensive business background help manage huge budgets. We sure need that now as our state legislature along with those in all other states, cope with the crisis in our government.

Viebrock is working every day as he campaigns. He is a construction drywall foreman who fully understands working men and women. An honorably discharged Marine, he also supports the military and their families.

David’s background in education is extensive. His passion for helping students achieve their best and, in getting new schools built is why he is running.

When you vote in November, don’t stop after the first few. Keep going and be sure to support Huster, Viebrock and Spring, 5th district candidates. They’ll bring to Olympia fresh outlooks and commitment to work to resolve our problems.
