Art for The Sound

The Issaquah Salmon Hatchery’s Theater is a colorful place these days, thanks to a youth artwork exhibit on display through September.

The Issaquah Salmon Hatchery’s Theater is a colorful place these days, thanks to a youth artwork exhibit on display through September. The traveling art show is part of http://www.pugetsoundstartshere.org/ Art and Video Contest, which is administered by Nature Vision, a non-profit organization that hopes to foster appreciation and stewardship of the environment.

Artists from Kindergarten through Grade 12 created art based on the theme of “Why Should We Care About Puget Sound?”

Stop by the theater while you’re visiting the salmon, and take a look at these impressive works of art.
