“Au-Some Artists,” an event that provides an opportunity for students with special needs to interact with local teen volunteer mentors, will take place from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 at the EX3 Boys and Girls Club Recreation and Teen Center in Sammamish.

The free event is especially geared for students on the autism spectrum, but students with other special needs are also welcome. The students and mentors will create art in several mediums, including print making, music, weaving and theater.
