Beaver Lake Middle School is in the process of being transformed into Neverland – complete with pirates, flying children, and alligators that go “tick-tock.”
This week, students were busy in dress rehearsals for a performance of JM Barrie’s “Peter Pan,” which will run April 8, 9 and 10 at 7 p.m., as well as a matinee performance on the 10th at 2 p.m.
Friend of the school, Robert Humble, was on hand to shoot these great photos for The Reporter.
With more than 70 students making up the cast and crew, Peter Pan will be the biggest play ever put on at the school.
Peter Pan will be played by Jessie Spung, with Astrid Krivanek playing the role of Tinkerbell.
Students Lucas Lindberg, Ashley Young, Neil Moorthy, Spencer Turner, Hannah Green, Riley Bancroft and Renee Chaffin also have starring roles.
Peter Pan will be directed by Beaver Lake teachers Carol Woodman and Tina Worthington.
Tickets are $7 and will be available at the door or by calling the school at 425-417-4150.
