Burglar flees home after homeowner returns mid-heist | Police blotter for May 7-10

Thursday, May 10

Larceny: Numerous unlocked vehicles were prowled overnight on the 3800 block of 203rd Ave. Northeast.

Child Rape: Police were informed of a possible sexual relationship between a 19-year-old and a 14-year-old at Eastlake High School.

Assault: Two subjects were in an argument before the suspect assaulted and strangled the victim. The suspect was arrested for Assault on the West side of a construction site on the 22500 block of Southeast 4th St.

Larceny: An unknown suspect stole items from an unlocked vehicle on the 4200 block of 204th Ave. Northeast.

Tuesday, May 8

DUI: A suspect was arrested for DUI and a Hit and Run Unattended after running over a light pole and sprinkler then striking a shell gas station pump and the building itself on the 22600 block of 22600 block of Northeast Inglewood.

Mail Theft: Thirty pieces of mail were left on the side of the road at the corner of Northeast Inglewood Hill Road and 222nd Place Northeast.

Larceny: The Metropolitan Market reported a shoplift that they have video surveillance of.

Burglary: A suspect entered a home on the 22100 block of Southeast 13th Place, ate food, packed up stolen items and fled without the items when the homeowner returned.

Monday, May 7

Larceny: An unknown suspect stole items from an unlocked truck on the 22100 block of Southeast 13th Place.
