Master Chorus Eastside’s “Celebrate America” concert returns to Issaquah’s Pickering Barn to commemorate the Fourth of July.

The concert’s theme will focus on American oratory with selections from speeches of the past and music of the Colonial, Civil War and Civil Rights eras. The music will be accompanied by commentary from Linda Gingrich, the group’s director.

The program will include early versions of the Star-Spangled Banner, numbers such as George M. Cohan’s “You’re a Grand Old Flag” and “I’m a Yankee Doodle Dandy,” a choral rendition of John Philip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever,” and audience singalongs.

The event will be at 3 p.m. Sunday June 29 at Pickering Barn, 1730 10th Ave. N.W. Tickets are $10-$15 and available at 425-392-8446.
