The Downtown Issaquah Association is seeking artists of all types and styles to submit work to be juried for the 13th annual Downtown Issaquah ArtWalk season. Emerging artists of all ages are welcome, as well as established professionals of the trade.

Artists will be recognized with a People’s Choice Award and other awards throughout the season.

From the time ArtWalk started in 2002, the crowd has increased twelve-fold and the number of artists who participate has tripled. Last year, an estimated 10,000 people came to downtown Issaquah to see and purchase art, hear live music and support historic downtown.

Artists are paired with a participating downtown venue to set up inside the business using wall space, easels, tables or other display arrangements. Outside spaces also are available. The artist must be able to set up before the 6 p.m. start time and be present with the artwork throughout the event. The artist can have an assistant to help with the show. In most cases, the unsold artwork will need to be removed at the end of the evening.

The first Friday Artwalks will begin June 6 in downtown Issaquah. Subsequent Artwalks will be held July 11 (due to Fourth of July), Aug. 1 and Sept. 5 from 6-9 p.m.
