Issaquah, Sammamish students play key roles in Bear Creek’s Oliver Twist

Issaquah resident Hanna Anderson and Sammamish resident Ellie Probus will play key roles in the Bear Creek School's adaptation of Charles Dickens' "Oliver Twist."

Issaquah resident Hanna Anderson and Sammamish resident Ellie Probus will play key roles in the Bear Creek School’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “Oliver Twist.”

Anderson will play Nancy, while Probus is playing the part of Mrs. Corney.

The play features a 30-foot collapsible set was built on wheels and hinges so that the Cornerstone Theater stage could be shared with other school groups during the months of rehearsal.

There are shows at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Friday, May 18 and shows at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 19.

All performances are open to the public. Tickets ($5 individual or $10 for the whole family) may be purchased at the door.

The Bear Creek School Cornerstone Theater is located at 8905 208th Ave NE in Redmond.
