As soon as you walk into the lobby and see two enormous works by internationally famous glass sculptor Dale Chihuly, you can tell that the University House is a place for great art.

That tradition will continue with the opening of “Four Seasons,” a show featuring painting, ceramics and jewelry.

Curated by University House’s resident curator Charlotte Beall, the show features a mixture of renowned artists and up-and-comers.

“This showcase of artworks explores the subtle and dramatic changes in the seasons of nature,” Beall said.

Anne Anderson, Laura Batie, Joan Frey, Steve Harmston, Michael Rainwater, Cheryl Waale, Susan Waite, Gretchen Siegrist and Jenifer Thacher are just some of the regional artists to feature in the show.

“Four Seasons” opened March 6 and runs through June 7, at University House, 22975 S.E. Black Nugget Rd.
