The Sammamish nonprofit, Chris Elliott Fund for Glioblastoma Brain Cancer Research (CEF) will host a Spring Into Action event for any local residents wanting to know more about how they can help in the fight against brain cancer.

Operating with a small staff, led by Dellann Elliott whose husband, Chris, died of brain cancer in 2002, CEF relies upon an enthusiastic team of volunteers and contributors.

In the past few years, CEF has been at the forefront of a number of groundbreaking advancements in the treatment of brain cancer and the support offered to sufferers and their families.

CEF’s Spring Into Action event, for current and new volunteers, will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, March 5, at 24509 NE 27th Place, Sammamish.

Meet volunteers and staff, hear about what CEF is up to, and learn where you can put your talent to work.

It will be a very social event, and a great chance to connect with people in your community doing good things.
