38 Eastlake students move on to state DECA competition

Thirty-eight Eastlake High School DECA students advanced through Area 3 to the state competition to the state competition, March 8-10 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue.

Thirty-eight Eastlake High School DECA students advanced through Area 3 to the state competition to the state competition, March 8-10 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue.

Thirteen of those students placed in the top five Jan. 12 at the Area 3 competition.

Those who qualify at state join 15,000 other DECA students at international competition in Salt Lake City, Utah in April.

Students, who placed in the top five at the Area 3 competition are listed below.

Natalie Hurd (11th grade) and Alaina Hartley (11th grade) in Marketing Management
