The Issaquah Schools Foundation’s marathon “All in for Kids” annual fund campaign raised $366,805, surpassing its goal of $330,000. The campaign, which began in August, culminated at the district administration building when 300 high school students gathered to call over 9,700 parents on the evenings of Nov. 13 and 15.

“It proves how deeply our community is committed to providing our children with the best possible education, said campaign chair Camille Vaska. “Awareness of the tremendous impact private donations have on our public schools grows each year.”

“All in for Kids” campaign donations will be used to support foundation programs including free after-school homework labs and open libraries, the VOICE mentoring program, financial literacy curriculum for eighth graders, special needs and highly capable program funding, national board certification scholarships for teachers, academic enrichment grants to fund innovation and excellence in classroom instruction, and expanded support of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) initiatives at all levels.

Contributions to the “All in for Kids” campaign will be accepted through the end of the year. Visit www.isfdn.org to learn more about the foundation and to make an online donation. Donations are also accepted by phone at 425-391-8557.
