Feb. 8

Checking up on crime: A resident of Southeast 17th Place posted a desk for sale on Craigslist. A purchaser sent a cashiers check to buy the desk; however, the check was found to be a fake. The victim reported the fraud to the police department in person at 12:04 p.m.

Feb. 10

Driving me crazy: A driver was issued a citation at 11:19 p.m. on East Lake Sammamish Parkway for failing to transfer the vehicle’s title and provide proof of insurance.

Feb. 11

You’ve got mail: At 8:51 a.m., it was noticed that a bank of mailboxes had been pried open in front of the clubhouse at the Palomino Condos on 227th Place Southeast.

Don’t follow the Yellow Lake Trail: A person walking their dog on the Yellow Lake Trailhead at 5:20 p.m. reported that an argument broke out with another dog-walker over their dogs fighting with one another. The reporting party reported simple assault to the shoulder by the other person involved in the argument.

Feb. 12

Rock and roll: A resident of Northeast Inglewood Hill Road reported that she returned home at 2:06 p.m. to find that a rock had been thrown through her front window. The damage was determined to cost under $1,500.

Feb. 13

Hunting for antiques: A purple Nikon Coolpix S220 digital camera was found on the ground near the Sammamish Police Department on 228th Avenue Southeast. At 12:30 p.m., a person dropped the camera off at the police station.

Feb. 14

No flying for you: A resident of 254th Avenue Southeast misplaced their passport and reported it as missing at 12:02 p.m.
