Congratulations to Ariel Hagen, a senior at Issaquah High School. She has been selected as the April Red Robin Scholar Athlete of the Month by the Issaquah High School Booster Club and Red Robin Restaurant.

Congratulations to Ariel Hagen, a senior at Issaquah High School. She has been selected as the April Red Robin Scholar Athlete of the Month by the Issaquah High School Booster Club and Red Robin Restaurant.

“Ariel is an outstanding athlete that has played Varsity Tennis for the last four years,” said girl’s tennis coach Shannon Small. “She has become a team leader with her attitude and dedication to the sport of tennis.”

Hagen is a scholar athlete that has maintained her high GPA while working and playing a sport that she loves. She also takes her love of the game and brings it to the community.

She currently teaches tennis to both youth and adults.

When asked what she will remember most about this season Hagen said “this past year we had a great win against Skyline. Every time I played in a doubles match with my partner Selena, we made the most of it. I will miss her, my teammates and my coach.”

Next year Hagen will be enrolled at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, Calif. She plans on studying business administration and nutrition.

Hagen’s hard work and dedication have made her a shining example to represent Issaquah High School.
