Beaver Lake brings the luck of the Irish to Bingo night

Two things were made clear at Beaver Lake Middle School (BLMS) on Friday night. The community of Beaver Lake is really into Bingo, and they are really supportive of their school.

More than 500 students, parents, friends and neighbors filled the school’s auditorium for the fourth annual BLMS Bingo night. Organized and sponsored by the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), the purpose of Bingo night is bring families into the school community, and familiarize parents with the many teachers and support staff. While PTSA groups spend much of their time raising funds, Bingo night is a social event first and foremost.

Students from Pacific Cascade Freshman Campus volunteered their time for the event, serving delicious pizza and other Bingo-type food to the hungry masses.

With the success of Bingo night behind them, the BLMS community is now busy preparing for their production of Peter Pan. Featuring more than 70 students, Peter Pan will open on April 8.
