Bikes topic of Issaquah event Thursday

The Cascade Land Conservancy will hold an evening of riding, talking and watching bikes beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday. Participants are encouraged to ride around Issaquah, have fun and talk about what works (or doesn't). The event will be led by community members.

The  Cascade Land Conservancy will hold an evening of riding, talking and watching bikes beginning at  6 p.m. Thursday. Participants are encouraged to ride around Issaquah, have fun and talk about what works (or doesn’t). The event will be led by community members.

At 7 p.m., a session will be presented oh bike system improvements with a discussion by bike and pedestrian experts and community on how people can work together to make biking and walking safer and easier.

Participants are encouraged to watch the Tour de France at 8 p.m. at the Issaquah Brew House, located at 35 W. Sunset Way.  All ages are welcome.
