Feb. 5

DITCHED:A driver in the 25200 Block of SE Issaquah-Fall City Rd. fled the scene, abandoning his or her vehicle in the ditch. There were no witnesses.

Feb. 8

PLATES:Someone removed the license plate from a 2014 black Jeep in the Sammamish Lutheran Church parking lot at 22818 SE Eighth St.

Feb. 9

OH DEER: A vehicle struck a deer in the 23400 block of SE Eighth St. Police euthanized it.

Feb. 11

DOPE KIT: Someone turned over a “dope kit” to the Sammamish Police Department for disposal.

KNIFE JOB: An anonymous person turned over a black folding knife he had found to the Sammamish Police Department for disposal.

Feb. 12

ONE OF 13: A resident in the 20500 block of NE 43rd St. reported one of 13 prescription pill bottles missing from the cardboard box inside the kitchen cabinet. The report indicates it’s likely not a burglary but the police department listed it as such until the item is recovered.

THE OL’ SWITCHEROO: A Sammamish officer pulled over a driver in the 3000 bock of 253 Place SE for driving with expired 2014 tags. The driver had switched the vehicle’s tags with those from his other car.

EVEN ONE PILL WOULD DO: A known person entered the residence in the 23800 block of SE 24th St. through the back door and attempted to take the homeowner’s prescription drugs. The homeowner confronted the person, who left when asked.

Feb. 13

FIREWORKS: Sammamish police responded to a noise disturbance in the 300 block of 240 Place SE. The caller reported that someone had been setting off fireworks or other explosive device in the neighborhood. The city of Sammamish has a ban on such fireworks.
