March 11

BOOM: Shortly after midnight, a resident in the 1900 block of 263rd Court Southeast reported someone had just blown something up in her backyard, which caused two of her back windows to break. It is likely someone tossed a sparkler bomb over the fence at the house.

March 13

SHOWER HEADS HURT: King County Sheriff’s Office responded to an assault where a woman reportedly entered a residence in the 27000 block of Southeast 25 Place, threw a shower head at a male and struck him in the ear.

March 14

SMOKING TIRES: A driver was stopped in the 3000 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway at 4 p.m. for going 54 mph in a 35 mph-speed zone. The officer reported an “overwhelming” odor of marijuana from the car. Subsequently, the driver was arrested for driving while under intoxicates after a standard field sobriety test and warrant for the blood was served.

March 15

STUPID SHRUBS: A vehicle hit a small tree or shrubbery at the entrance of “Vintage” subdivision at the 23800 block of Southeast Eighth Street around 1 p.m. and fled from the scene. The driver was later identified.

March 17

RITE AID DISPUTE: Two drivers caused a disturbance in the Rite Aid parking lot off of Issaquah-Pine Lake Road Southeast around 10 a.m.

NEEDED A RESTROOM: Someone entered a residence in the 2100 block of Northeast 16th Street through an unknown locked door. The unknown person left a bowel movement in the downstairs restroom. The resident said the suspect may have used the key stored in a detached, unlocked garage, which many know about.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Someone tried to force their way into a two-story single family residence in the 2800 block of 255 Avenue Southeast after 8 p.m.

March 18

WWII AMMUNITION: A resident came across some of his father’s WWII ammunition and brought them into the Sammamish Police Department for disposal.

DANG IT, DOC: Someone forced their way into an apartment in the Boulder Creek Apartment complex in the 4400 block of Issaquah-Pine Lake Road Southeast while the resident was at a doctor’s appointment.

UNLOCKED VEHICLE: Someone stole several items from an unlocked vehicle parked on the street in the 2500 block of Sahalee Drive East.

IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCCEED: By kicking in the front door, someone forced their way into a residence in the Boulder Creek Apartment complex in the 4400 block of Issaquah-Pine Lake Road Southeast. Before successfully entering, the subject had attempted to enter through the rear door. There was damage to the apartment, but nothing was reported missing.

March 21

SHOTGUN: Someone brought in shotgun ammunition to the Sammamish Police Department for disposal.
