Aug. 20

DUI: At approximately 6 a.m., a male subject was found in the driver’s seat of a white Toyota Prius with the engine running and under the influence of alcohol in the 3900 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE. According to the police report, the subject hit a guardrail and damaged two mailboxes along the side of the road. The subject was arrested and booked into King County Jail for DUI.

Aug. 23

CAN OF BEER: A subject was believed to have stolen a Bud Light while with friends at the Klahanie QFC in the 4700 block of Klahanie Drive SE. All were trespassed from the location for one year.

TIRES SLASHED: The driver’s side tires of a blue Oldsmobile were punctured and flat in a locked parking garage at the Safron Apartments, located in the 22800 block of NE 8th St. The damages were estimated to be under $1,500.

CAR PROWL: A subject broke into a locked vehicle through its front passenger window at the Sammamish Landing in the 4600 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE. A purse was taken from the front passenger seat.

Aug. 24

SUSPENDED LICENSE: A driver was stopped for having expired vehicle registration in the 3300 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE and found to be driving with a suspended license. The driver was arrested and released on the scene.

TRAILER PROWL: Leaf blowers were stolen out of a man’s landscaping equipment trailer while he was in the grocery store in the 4500 block of Klahanie Drive SE at the Klahanie Shopping Center.

SECOND-STORY BURGLARY: Large quantities of medication, watches and jewelry were stolen from a home located in the 900 block of 221 Ave. NE. The suspect used a ladder to enter through a second-story window, where an air-conditioning unit was in place.

Aug. 25

DRIVING WITHOUT INTERLOCK DEVICE: At a traffic stop in the 1800 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE, a subject was arrested for driving with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device. The subject was booked into Issaquah jail.

INDECENT EXPOSURE: A caretaker was caught via camera masturbating in the kitchen of the residence he worked at the 1300 block of 254 Place SE.

Aug. 26

CAR PROWL: Police responded to a reported theft from an unlocked vehicle parked in a residence’s driveway in the 4800 block of 192 Drive NE.

STRANGER ACTING STRANGE: A male was reported to be approaching people and acting strange at Sammamish Landing Park in the 4600 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE.

Aug. 27

CAR PROWL: Items were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of 214th Ave. SE.

REAR WINDOW SMASHED: The back window of a victim’s vehicle was smashed out in the 21800 block of NE 9th St. Damages were estimated to be below $1,500.

BROKEN CAR WINDOW: A vehicle’s driver side window was broken out and change was taken from inside. The vehicle was parked in the 20200 block of NE 38 Court.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: A driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license during a traffic stop in the 26600 block of SE Duthie Hill.
