Eastside Catholic High School is taking part in the DECA program for the first time this year. As part of their program activities, the DECA students are collecting used car seats.

Car seats that are gently used, less than six years old, and have never been in a collision, will be donated to a family in need. If the car seats are not up to the safety standards set by the Traffic Safety Coalition, recyclable parts will separated out from unusable parts.

Any car seat, no matter how old or used, can be donated.

The collection will be held this weekend, Dec. 12 and 13, at the Merry Go Round Children’s Store in Bellevue. If you are unable to donate on the event days, contact Eastside Catholic School at 425-295-3000, to arrange a pick up.

For each car seat, the donor will receive a coupon, for ten dollars off the family’s next car seat at Merry Go Round.
