City of Sammamish opens Virtual Town Hall on business and shopping

The city of Sammamish recently opened its latest Virtual Town Hall online survey on the topic of business and shopping.

The new topic, which opened March 31 and will be open through April 30, marks the fifth survey put out by the city since launching its Virtual Town Hall last summer.

Available through the city’s website, the online, public input tool aims to broaden and deepen community feedback to the Sammamish City Council. Past Virtual Town Hall survey topics included city communications, growth, bus service and land acquisition.

“If you assume each online response is the equivalent of a three-minute comment at the City Council podium, so far we’ve received more than 69 hours of extra feedback,” Sammamish Communications Manager Tim Larson said in a press release. “We’ve been very happy with the results.”
