The 2010 Concerts on the Green series begins this Tuesday, July 6 with Half Pack LIVE, an entertainment group whose performances evoke the Vegas of yesteryear.

The free shows, presented by Issaquah Parks and Recreation and Issaquah Arts Commission in collaboration with Issaquah Kiwanis Club, showcase some of the Northwest’s most talented musical artists. Performances take place at 7 p.m. on the lawn outside the Issaquah Community Center every Tuesday throughout July and August, with many residents arriving early for a picnic on the Green.

This summer’s line-up includes rockin’ country, 80s and 90s retro, as well as cultural sounds like Celtic soul, mariachi and African fusion. The full schedule of performances is available on the city’s website.
