A recent food drive at Issaquah Curves collected 1,364 pounds of food to benefit the Issaquah Food Bank.

Norma Stephens, Issaquah Curves franchise owner says, “Our members have generous hearts.  So, it’s no surprise to me that they rallied behind the food drive.”

Front Street Market donated food and loaned Curves its shopping carts. The Little Gym also partnered with Curves by collecting food by their members

Issaquah Mayor Ava Frisinger took part in presenting Cori Kauk, Issaquah Food Bank Executive Director, with the food donations from Curves and its members.

“The economy is so bad that our number of recipients have increased,” Kauk said. “It has been difficult to make ends meet. We are always in need. There just is not enough to go around.”

Curves of Issaquah is located at 40 Front St. S.; 425-392-2330 or issaquahcurves@gmail.com.
