Eastside Baby Corner will hold its 5th annual Pants Party fun-raising event Sept. 6. The event is a free-to-the-public, carnival-style event during which attendees are asked to bring a pair of pants (or several pairs) to donate to a local child for their return to school.

For this year’s event, the agency decided to involve area children even more by inviting them to submit their original artwork for the very first Pants Party Poster Contest in hopes of finding a design to use on the event posters and other marketing materials.

The contest offered children to have their art, with their name on it, seen by the public.

The creator of the winning design will receive a $25 gift certificate to Target – for their own back-to-school shopping.
