The Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank will hold its Recipe for Hope Breakfast from 7-8:30 a..m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at Eastridge Church.

The food bank serves the same as the Issaquah School District, which includes areas of Issaquah, Sammamish, Renton, Preston, Newcastle and Bellevue. The clothing bank, one of the few in the region, serves an even larger population.

Funds raised at the Recipe for Hope Breakfast will support efforts to provide healthy food options to clients, build services and programs that enrich lives such as the Summer Lunch Program, Tools for Schools, Fruit Tree Gleaning and Financial Literacy Program, and fund future expansion to better serve our community.

A minimum donation of $100 is suggested.

Keynote speaker will be James Whitfield, CEO of Leadership Eastside. Sen. Mark Mullet will be the emcee.
