Forum: Candidates for King County Council and the Sammamish Water District

Candidates for King County Council and the Sammamish Water District will participate in a forum on Wednesday, October 13th, from 6-7 pm. Residents are invited to propose questions in an email to by Oct. 7.

The forum will air live on Issaquah City Television (channel 21) and Issaquah City Channel on YouTube, and the recording will remain available on YouTube. The Kiwanis Club of Issaquah, the Issaquah branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), and the Issaquah Cable TV Commission will sponsor this event.

At 6:00 pm, we will start with opening statements by candidates for Sammamish Plateau Water District:

– Nav Otal, Position 3

– Anh Vo, Position 3

– Mary Shustov Position 5 (unopposed)

Followed by King County Council District 3:

– Kathy Lambert

– Sarah Perry

All candidates will make opening statements, but only opposed King County Council candidates will respond to questions and give closing statements. Connie Fletcher, a member of Kiwanis, and Kathleen Friedman, a member of AAUW, will moderate the forum.
