The Sammamish Kiwanis Club Holiday Band played a few tunes to raise money for the Eastside Baby Corner on the weekend.

Generous musicians Gary Wilson, Christine Anderson, Fred Jesset, Don Gessling, and Bryan Heathman were just some of the Kiwanians who helped to raise more than $1,100 in cash and donations, including a car load of supplies, for the baby corner.

The band played on Saturday outside Safeway, with Key Clubbers from Skyline and Eastlake High Schools helping collect.

On Sunday, the Kiwanis and Key Clubbers sang carols outside Starbucks in the Pine Lake Shopping Center.
