The South Cove community will hold a Holiday 5 km walk/run on Dec. 18 to benefit the Issaquah Food Bank.

The event begins at 9:30 a.m. at the tennis courts in South Cove. The walk/run will take place rain or shine, snow or ice, organizers say.

Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. A family price of $25 also is available. Participants should make checks out to the Issaquah Food Bank and send them to Susan Sullivan at 4431 – 193rd Ave. SE., Issaquah, WA 98027. Donations can be made to the food bank even for those unable to walk or run.
