A pile of freshly cooked pancakes is always going to draw a crowd. And that's what the members of the Issaquah Valley Seniors Center found out on Saturday when they held their annual fundraising pancake breakfast.

A pile of freshly cooked pancakes is always going to draw a crowd.

And that’s what the members of the Issaquah Valley Seniors Center found out on Saturday when they held their annual fundraising pancake breakfast.

Sponsored by Aegis of Issaquah, the pancake breakfast broke all records, with more than 200 people showing their support for the center, not to mention a healthy appetite. In fact, volunteers had to make a quick trip to a nearby supermarket for more supplies, which ran out after about 150 breakfasts! Behind the scenes, Barb and Rowan Hinds, Jan Koriath, Damon Hill, Leslie Campana and Emma Cronin were just part of a hardworking volunteer team who kept the pancakes coming and cleaned up afterward.
