ISD suffers from malware attack

No ETA on when it will be resolved.

The Issaquah School District suffered a malware attack Dec. 22.

In a district email notice, the school stated all websites and email had been turned off due to the malware attack. Malware is software that’s intended to damage a computer.

The district’s IT department responded immediately Sunday morning (Dec. 22) to protect the systems.

Systems that are hosted off-site were not affected by the attack.

As of Dec. 29, the district and school websites were restored. Email, pay online and other systems, sites and pages are still unavailable.
