ISF, Highlands eateries partnering for schools in October

Diners who visit Chinoise and the RAM on special nights will support Issaquah schools

Diners are urged to hit the Issaquah Highlands in October to enjoy some good food while supporting local schools.

Chinoise Sushi Bar and Asian Restaraunt, and The RAM Restaraunt and Brewery, will donate a portion of all purchases to the Issaquah Schools Foundation (ISF) “All In for Kids” annual fund on special fundraiser nights. Chinoise will donate proceeds raised Oct. 1, while The RAM will donate funds earned Oct. 8.

“People are surprised to learn that the Issaquah School District is near the bottom of the list when it comes to support from the state; ranking 291st of 295 school districts,” ISF Executive Director Robin Callahan said. “Our schools are great in part because of the level of engagement and investment from our community. Their support has a direct impact on the quality of education available to our students.”

Chinoise is at 936 NE Park Dr, Issaquah. The RAM is located down the street at 965 NE Park Dr.

Donations to the ISF fund programs such as the VOICE mentor program, classes in Computer Science and Web Design, after-school homework labs, Pre-K Summer School, and more.
