Police reports from Issaquah and Sammamish from March 10-14

 

March 10

Loitering juveniles: It was reported that transient juveniles have been behind a business/residence in the 100 Block of First Avenue Northwest after business hours. The caller stated that a neighbor indicated that four or more juveniles commonly go behind the business when it closed. Extra patrols were set up.

Hide and Seek: A woman called police regarding two to four suspicious males on her property in the 500 Block of Front Street South. Officers were unable to locate the males. The manager at the Windsong Apartments indicated that the four were residents and/or friends of residents who play hide-and-seek in the area.

Red Tennis shoe guy: A report was made of a solicitor in the 4600 Block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast. He was described as a black male, 5-foot 8-inches, 185-pounds, wearing red tennis shoes. The male was asked to leave and was refusing. The caller stated that there are no soliciting signs posted. Police were unable to locate the man.

Doesn’t like Lyndon: Police were dispatched to a dispute at the Lyndon Larouche booth at the Issaquah Fred Meyer. Police contacted the individual at the booth, who indicated that a male walked up to the booth and became angry.

Noisy mourners: A report of a group of subjects outside caller’s house in the 2100 Block of Northeast Noble St. yelling, some on caller’s property. The situation seemed to be calming as officers were en route. Police made contact with renters at the location who said many family members had gathered to mourn the recent passing of parents.

March 11

Potty training: Police were called regarding a patron sitting, fully clothed on the toilet in the men’s bathroom at the Issaquah Library. When the officer arrived, the subject had exited the bathroom and was in the library.

March 12

Dude needed a shower: It was reported that a transient male was using the locker room showers in the 100 Block of Southeast Clark Street without paying. He left prior to police arrival. He was described as being a 6-foot 2-inch, 190-pound white male, about 35-years-old with short blonde hair. He was wearing a tan shirt, blue jeans and a backpack. He was not located.

March 14

Bad place to camp: An officer was dispatched to the area of the 300 Block of Southeast Sycamore Creek Lane on a report of a possible transient camp in the area. Upon arrival the officer checked the area and located a tent filled with a bed mattress and miscellaneous food items with nobody around. The officer left his business card with a note stating the people belonging to the camp needed to vacate and that he would be checking back.

Paintballs: An officer was dispatched to the 23400 block of Southeast Black Nugget Road on a report that approximately 30 minutes prior to the call time, someone shot a large amount of paintballs at a building.

Aggressive driver: An officer was dispatched to the area of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast and Southeast 43rd Way on a reckless driver call. The complainant advised that a Mercury Villager van cut her off and brake checked her. The complainant was unable to get a license plate number.

Bump on the head: Eastside Fire and Rescue requested officer assistance with a subject who fell out of a vehicle in the 600 Block of Mountain Park Boulevard Southwest. Upon arrival, the person was asked to go to the hospital for possible head injuries. He/she refused to go to the hospital but later went to the hospital voluntary.
