Issaquah church sells fireworks for a cause starting June 28

An Issaquah church that boarders the city limits is selling fireworks to help send teens on service projects to third world countries.

An Issaquah church that boarders the city limits is selling fireworks to help send teens on service projects to third world countries.

Proceeds go toward sending teams to Mexico to build homes, Uganda for medical care and Haiti to build facilities.

Issaquah Christian Church plans to stock a large tent with TNT brand fireworks including fountains, aerials, roman candles, sparklers and mortars.

While fireworks are illegal in most cities, including Issaquah and Sammamish, they are allowed in unincorporated King County, which includes communities on Tiger Mountain and Klahanie.

Sales begin noon, June 28. Daily operation runs from 9 a.m.-11 p.m., through July 4 at 10328 Issaquah-Hobart Rd. S.E.
